About Us
Who We Are                 
The Serwer Law Firm Pte Ltd (an international law firm) handles a wide range of general corporate, commercial and securities matters, as well as dispute resolution, primarily on behalf of clients in Southeast Asia.  Established in 2002, the Firm's sole office is in Singapore.  The Firm is registered as a foreign law firm under the Legal Profession (International Services) Rules (S236/2000) of Singapore.

Our Philosophy
The Firm's policy is to provide clients with legal services of the highest quality.  We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our clients and to understand their business needs and requirements.  We seek to identify potential problems (commercial and legal) and to offer pragmatic solutions.  We strive to be responsive and timely, and we limit our overall work intake for that reason.  The Firm works together regularly with local law firms in Singapore, Indonesia and elsewhere in the region, although we have no formal relationship with any other firm.

Our Principal
Nicholas J. Serwer, principal of the Firm, has practiced law for over 20 years, and has practiced as a foreign lawyer in Singapore since 1995.  Mr. Serwer is admitted to practice in New York and Maryland, USA.  Although based in Singapore, much of Mr. Serwer's practice has involved clients in, or investing in Indonesia and Thailand.

Our Counsel
Matt Richards, counsel to the Firm, has practiced as a foreign lawyer in Singapore since 1999. Mr Richards is admitted to practise in New York, England and Wales, and the Australian Capital Territory. Mr Richards' practice has focused on corporate finance transactions throughout the region, particularly in Indonesia and India.
